Wholesale nurseries and growers sell to landscapers and sometimes to the public at volume prices; tree nurseries sell balled-and-burlapped and container trees and can deliver and plant large specimens. Specialty growers focus on bonsai, cactus and succulents, orchids or native plants, and hydroponics stores sell lights, nutrients and systems for growing indoors.

Talking about knowing plants, the owner knows so much it's amazing. If anyone needs an answer to any plant problem, or to find that certain plant, this is the place to go. He has been doing this since he was five and his nursery is filled with a huge variety of plants. He also will get you that hard to get, special plant you've always wanted.

I discovered this little gem of a garden center while staying in Macon for work. It is nestled in a cute little neighborhood and looks to have been around long enough to have naturalized plantings in the greenhouse. Check out this Cockspur coral tree that must be 30 years old (have never seen one this beautiful in my life). Tim, the manager, was the most helpful in getting me White Cosmos seedlings grown especially for my rental property. He made the process so easy and affordable, with the greatest attitude of any garden team member ever!

I was disappointed by the plants that I have been seeing this spring... Until I went to Johnson's. I enjoyed my experience so much that I took my daughter back to pick out more plants. She said she loved the fairy garden and can't wait to go back. Every single plant I bought from them is thriving and the plants I have that aren't, I should have bought from Johnson's instead. Every employee has been extremely kind, answered every question, and has offered assistance every time. I think everyone ought to know about this place.

I have lived in Middle Georgia for 30 years and recently made my first visit to Johnson's Garden Center. This garden center has it all!!! It was the day before Easter, they were packed with customers and it was pouring down rain. I was in awe of the plant selection! They carry the largest variety of plants that I have seen in one place - indoor plants, shrubs, specimen trees, pond plants, annuals, perenials, succulents and more. They also had a beautiful selection of clay pots - in various sizes. The plants were also in beautiful condition. Not only does this garden center have beautiful plants, but they also have some of the best customer service I have experienced. As I walked around, I was asked several times if I needed any help or if I wanted them to take my plants to hold while I shopped. I asked one employee if they had a particular plant and he was immediately able to tell me what day they would have them in. Later, I asked a different employee about the location of a plant and not only told me, he walked me over to them, helped me find the best ones and then carried them to the front to hold while I continued to shop. As if all of their help wasn't enough, after I checked

Iβm new to the area and ChatGPT recommended this garden center and Iβm so glad it did. Everything about this place is 5 stars. The selection and health of the plants is amazing and itβs not even April yet. Everyone there was nice and helpful. My hands were getting full and without asking they brought us a wagon for our hanging baskets and a cardboard box for bedding plants. I was warned they might be more expensive than a box store like Home Depot but I didnβt really find that to be true. Even if it was a few dollars more itβs worth is for the size and health of the plants
